Collection : Grady Clay (1916- ) papers Date/Extent : 1946-1987, 1.75 linear ft. Description : Grady Clay, an authority on urban design, formerly wrote for the Courier-Journal and edited Landscape Architecture Quarterly, authoring many books and articles on architecture, urban planning, and historic preservation. The collection includes a presentation copy of an early draft of "Closeup: How to Read the American City." Also present are Grady Clay's correspondence; literary productions; projects; reference materials; articles; pamphlets; reports; speeches; and articles about Clay.
