Collection : The Kentucky Quilt Project records Date/Extent : 1980-1997, 39 linear ft. Description : The Kentucky Quilt Project was one of the first organizations stimulating the collection of information about and promoting interest in the craft of quilting on a local, national, and international basis. These papers contain approximately one thousand Kentucky quilt images with written documentation including transparencies, slides, snapshots, and Polaraoid prints. In addition, the collection contains comprehensive project records, correspondence, printed material, minutes, photographs, and video tapes.
